Are Veea GentleFlow™ Feeding Bottles BPA and BPS free?

Yes, Veea feeding products are made without BPA and BPS for safe everyday feeding.

Can Veea GentleFlow™ Feeding Bottles be sterilised?

Yes. Veea PPSU bottles can be sterilised by boiling, steaming, or using suitable UV sterilisation methods. Always follow the care instructions provided with the product.

Are Veea bottles compliant with safety standards?

Veea feeding products are tested to EN14350:2020, a recognised European safety standard for children’s drinking equipment.

How do I choose the right teat size?

Teat size guides are a helpful starting point, but every baby feeds differently. Choose the flow that allows your baby to feed calmly, steadily, and comfortably.

How do I know if the flow is too fast?

Your baby may cough, gulp, pull away, or have milk leaking from the mouth. Consider switching to a slower teat flow if feeds feel rushed or uncomfortable.

How do I know if the flow is too slow?

Your baby may suck harder, become frustrated, take too long to finish, or fall asleep before drinking enough. Consider moving up a teat size when your baby is ready.

When should I replace the teat?

For regular use, we recommend replacing your baby’s teat every 4–6 weeks to ensure optimal hygiene and feeding comfort. Before each feed, always check the teat for signs of wear such as stickiness, thinning, cracks, tears, or changes in shape, and replace it immediately if you notice any deformities

Do I need to wash the bottle before first use?

Yes. Wash and sterilise all bottle parts before first use.

Can I put Veea bottles in the dishwasher?

Veea bottles may be washed in the dishwasher if placed securely on the top rack. However, handwashing is recommended to help maintain clarity and product condition.

Can I use abrasive brushes or harsh cleaners?

Avoid abrasive brushes, harsh chemicals, or strong solvents, as they may scratch or damage the bottle and teat.

Why has my bottle become slightly yellow over time?

Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) milk bottles naturally have a warm amber hue. Known for their exceptional durability and heat resistance of up to 180°C, PPSU bottles may gradually develop a deeper yellow tone over time with repeated sterilisation and regular contact with milk or cleaning agents.

This colour change is purely cosmetic with prolonged usage. It does not affect the safety, quality, or performance of the bottle, and is not a sign of chemical leaching.

I still need help. How can I contact Veea?
